My Most Worthy Dinning Expereince at Michelin Restaurant in Europe



Whenever I travel to Europe, I always want to give myself some special dining experiences. However, my past Michelin restaurant experiences that "do not live up to the name" made me feel that it is not worth spending so much money to eat at Michelin restaurants. Therefore, I did not specially arrange Michelin restaurants when I traveled to Europe in 2024.


However, when I traveled to Avignon, one day at dinner time, I casually went to the Michelin restaurant of my hotel to dine without making a reservation. Surprisingly, this Michelin two-star restaurant not only has "noble and elegant dining environment and charming atmosphere", "exquisite and delicious food", "high-level desserts" and "the bill that shocked me" have become part of my memories. , so I want to share with you my wonderful experience at a Michelin restaurant.








A French - country - style Michelin Restaurant



This Michelin restaurant ' La Salle A Manger ', hosted by 2024 Michelin Guide star chef Florent PIETRAVALLE, is located in the Louis XV salon of Hotel La Mirande. There are no complicated and excessive decorations. The exquisite and beautiful patterns of the curtain, table cloth and chairs reveal a strong French country style, and the Venetian chandelier in the center of the ceiling adds to the elegant atmosphere. It's fun to enjoy delicious food in this noble and elegant space.

The hotel's courtyard is close to a famous local attraction 'Papal Palace'. I chose to dine in the leafy, secluded courtyard, a beautiful setting with a variety of hedges, fruit trees, holm oaks, laurels, roses and a variety of kitchen herbs to satisfy the chef's needs.

Occassionally, I found an orange tree full of fruits in the garden. I touched and smelled it out of curiosity. I felt that living in the city was really a waste of time.

The beautiful garden becomes a good place for outdoor dining in the summer. For a person living in the city, it is a rare experience to be hidden away in the garden of this beautiful hotel and enjoy the food of Michelin restaurant away from the crowds of tourists.

A Michelin Meal that Truly Makes People Happy



After sitting down, I was attracted by the meal that the waiter brought to the next table, so I ordered the same 3-course set meal without looking at the menu.

Each dish not only satisfied my appetite, but the beautiful country-style dinner plates add color to the meal and add to the fun of dining. It is truly a dinner full of color, flavor and taste.

From the first to the third course, each course was meticulous and delicious, which made me pleasantly surprised and satisfied.

Finally, the dessert was the perfect ending to the dinner, and the plates were specially matched. This is what a real Michelin restaurant should be in my opinion.

Really Good Michelin Cuisine

Fills Me with Happiness & Indescribable Joy



When traveling in Europe, I had eaten at Michelin-starred restaurants several times, but I always felt that it did not meet my expectations. Fortunately, this is the first time I had taste really good Michelin-starred cuisine at the Hotel La Mirande in Avignon. Such a delicate and delicious dinner filled me with joy, happiness and indescribable pleasure.

After Nightfall, the Lights Create a Mysterious and Elegant Atmosphere in the Restaurant



As night fell, the Louis XV Salon lighted up to create a mysterious and elegant atmosphere. Lovers go on dates here, and couples dine here must be fascinated by the atmosphere of the beautiful restaurant. I couldn't take my eyes off this enchanting space, which made me want to stay in this hotel forever for every breakfast, every dinner, and all the romantic dates. I really wanted to stay in this beautiful hotel for the rest of my life! !

The bright Venetian crystal lamp harmonized with the warm and soft light of the table lamps. The corner of the restaurant was dimmed with light pink. Such a beautiful scene was pleasing to my eyes.








A Real Michelin Meal with Good Value


In my past experience,  I always felt heartbroken because of disappointment when I paid the bill at a Michelin restaurant. But this time I had a Michelin dinner at Le Mirande Hotel and tasted such a delicate and delicious dinner. The Perrier mineral water I ordered was 5.5 euros, and the set meal was 25 euros. , dessert is 9 euros, the total meal is 39.5 euros. This is a real good Michelin meal with good value.

Accidental Dinner, Unexpected Satisfaction



I occassionally had a dinner at a Michelin restaurant of the hotel where I stayed in Avignon. Not only was the meal delicious, but the desserts were also exquisite and delicious. Thanks to Michelin-starred chef Florent PIETRAVALLE designed the menu and the executive chef Danh Cuong NGUYEN made this delicious dinner. I hope I will have the opportunity to visit Avignon in the near future and taste the truly worthy Michelin star cuisine again.
