Villa Gallici in Provence
Provence is a must-visit rural scene for world travel enthusiasts. I was very much looking forward to my second visit. I spent a lot of time looking for accommodation, and finally chose Villa Gallini, which is only a few minutes' walk from the center of Aix-en-Provence. I hope that a good hotel will make me a perfect vacation. I had a smooth journey to Provence. After arriving at the Hotel smoothly, the first thing that caught my eye was an iron gate. You had to ring the intercom to enter. After the iron gate opened, I walked into the woods on foot and felt like I had stepped into a wonderland.
The Attentive and Considerate Welcome Deeply Touched My Heart
Enter the hotel through the elegant small entrance and go to the front desk to check in. Due to the hot weather, the hotel staff very considerately served me iced tea and delicious desserts. The exquisite porcelain plate with the desserts was decorated with two little birds that caught my eye. It also made me feel that this hotel's welcome style is very considerate. Pay attention to details
The Hotel Owner’s Collections
Had Taken My Breath Away
The furnishings in the hotel lobby are meticulous and elegant, showing taste and art everywhere. When I went to my room, I passed an antique piano covered with hand-painted patterns.
There are many bird ornaments displayed next to the hotel's front desk. I was told that the hotel founder likes birds very much and therefore bird ornaments can be seen everywhere in the lobby, restaurant, garden, and even in the guest rooms.I was deepy impressed by the hotel owner making full use of his collections to decorate his own hotel. I was amazed and curious about who the hotel owner is.

Entered the Hotel Industry at a Young Age
Eventually, I learned from hotel staff that the founder of this hotel, Mr. Roberto Polito, was from Italy. He entered the Italian hotel industry when he was only 18 years old and founded the Baglioni Group in 1970. He was passionate about traveling and fully understanding the needs and expectations of travelers. Thus, Villa Gallici had developed a unique hospitality concept that combines traditional Italian style and culture. And they continue to innovate services with the hotel team.
As I have been traveling to Italy continuously in recent years, it suddenly dawned on me, no wonder that I have always felt that this hotel in southern France seems to have a strong Italian style. Many items throughout the hotel were collected by the owner. The entire cupboard in the reception room was filled with porcelain collected by the owner. As I also love collecting porcelain, I could not take my eyes off each piece of porcelain.
Extremely Romantic Restaurant,
Perfect Scene for Couples
I went to the Italian restaurant on the hotel terrace for lunch while I was waiting for the room ready for check-in. I looked down at the swimming pool and gardens surrounded by greenery from the restaurant, the entire scene looked so unreal and made me felt like I was in wonderland.
The French restaurant is beautifully decorated with flowers in the evening, and is filled with a romantic atmosphere. It is simply the best scene for couples to propose or celebrate anniversary. I strongly recommend couples to visit here, and their emotions will definitely heat up quickly.
Stayed in a Luxurious and Spacious Suite,
Felt Like Dreaming in Wonderland
All the decor create a luxurious classical artistic atmosphere, which made me feel like I was dreaming.
The bedroom and living room have different decoration styles. I am intoxicated by the detailed patterns of wallpaper, sofa and curtain in the elegant living room.
Escaped from the Hustle and Bustle,
Healed and Recharged Myself
Not only from the wallpaper to the floor, but also from the bed to the furniture, they are all made of top quality materials. Every corner of the suite shows the designer's attention to detail. I admire that the patterns of wallpaper and sofa in the living room are consistent and elegant.
The glass lounge outside the living room is equipped with a TV and a desk. The green garden outside the window has a panoramic view. Staying in such a well-thought-out suite makes me feel so happy.
The terrace is surrounded by green trees and overlooks the hotel's swimming pool. It is a great pleasure to rest here for a while after swimming, to take sunbathe and fully recharge yourself.
Unique Breakfast in Wonderland
When traveling in Europe, I always look forward to the breakfast in hotels. I chose to have breakfast in an outdoor restaurant. Amidst the greenery and the chirping of insects and birds, I had breakfast while looking at the big trees in the courtyard and overlooking the clusters of flowers. I felt like I was dreaming in a fairyland

The swimming pool surrounded by greenery is a place where many guests relax and unwind. There is a SPA next to the swimming pool, and you will feel a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere when you step inside.
If You Ask Me: Where Did You Stay in Provence?
I Would Say: Wonderland
I have been traveling in Europe for so many years and have stayed in many luxury five-star hotels. However, Villa Gallici is not just a hotel with luxurious and elegant interior design. Every corner is thoughtful and innovative, and I was constantly surprised during my stay. Although I only stayed for two days, Villa Gallici led me into a fairyland, away from the hustle and bustle, throwing away my worries, resting fully, and settling my soul.
One time while wandering around the hotel, I discovered that Villa Gallici has been rated the No. 1 best hotel in France and the 25th best hotel in the world by the Britain's top luxury travel magazine 'Condé Nast Traveller' . I am very happy that I chose Villa Gallici as my temperary home during my holiday in Provence. I would like to thank all the hotel staff for their hospitality and making me have wonderful memories during my stay.
